Bosler & Company, P.C. has performed business valuation services since 1987. the firm's founder also provided such services for clients at previous employment. Rules and standards promulgated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants are abided by. To become competitive as well as profitable in any business, however, a firm must also be creative and efficient. This applies to providing business valuation services as well.

It is the firm's belief that the following four reasons result in the most requests for business appraisal work:

  • A business owner dies and his or her estate needs a fair market value appraisal for Federal Estate tax purposes.
  • One generation of business owners wants to pass ownership on to the next generation, requiring at least one business appraisal to comply with Federal Gift Tax rules.
  • Someone is interested in either buying or selling a business and wants to be well infomed about its worth before proceeding.
  • Goodwill from a previous acquisition is recorded on a company's balance sheet, which must be regularly evaluated and recorded at the lower of cost of fair market value under generally accepted accounting principles.

Whatever the reason you may need business valuation services, be it an informal estimate before proceeding further with an acquisition or sale to a comprehensive report, we would like to help. If selected, we will be committed towards abiding by professional standards, timely delivery, and a performance utilizing creative efficiency to result at a reasonable fee.
